All of my pieces are handmade using .925 sterling silver or/and .999 fine silver. Silver can tarnish. Here are a few tips to keep your jewelry looking its best:

• Wear your jewelry often. The oils from your skin help keep the silver shiny.
• Keep your jewelry out of direct sunlight when not being worn.
• Do not get your silver jewelry wet. Take off before bathing, going into a pool or hot tub, or washing the dishes.
• Avoid using lotions, perfumes or oils directly of your jewelry.
• If your jewelry does tarnish: Use a polishing cloth for sterling silver to clean your jewelry. I also include a polishing pad with your purchase that can be used.
• Be sure to store your jewelry in a cool, dark, dry place to prevent tarnish. Also, you can store your jewelry in an airtight bag, like a zip-lock.
